Condoms, Condoms, Condoms!

Over the past couple of days, I’ve been looking for information to put an article together on the subject of buying condoms because I have had a huge amount of readers asking for more information on the subject.

Today I finally found what I was looking for- Buying Condoms: Male, Female, Flavored and Spermicidal Condoms by David Edison. While trying to compile all of this information into my own article, I stopped and asked myself “Why not just post this article and give David all the credit?” So, that’s what I’m doing! Thanks David Edison!

You may find this article at the link above or click HERE!

I also had to include this clip of the “Single Gals” I grew up with. I surprisingly learned a lot about sex from this show! :)

When do you tell your new significant other that you have kids?

In a new relationship, when is the best time to bring up the fact that you have children?

A guy that I was seeing recently was having extreme issues cuming inside me (even though there was a condom and I am on birth control). I spoke with my best friend about it and without hesitation she said “Probably because he doesn’t want to get another girl pregnant”.

My eyes widened and my mouth dropped open “Whaaaaaaa?”

She then told me that he had a kid. “Didn’t you know?” “Does this face look like a face of someone who knows?”

Upon “sharking” (my friend’s word, not mine) Facebook, there it was, concrete proof in a picture that he did have a kid.

Our relationship wasn’t a one night stand; it was very much a progressive thing. We had spent hours just talking and getting to know each other the past couple of months.

Upon talking to other close friends about the topic, the men all said something to the effect of “Why are you freaking out? He would’ve told you eventually.” While all of the women say “What the fuck? How could he not have told you? That’s just fucked up.”

What do you think? When is it appropriate to tell your new significant other that you have kids?

Birth Control Methods that Do Not Work: The Pull Out Method

What is it? This method entails a man withdrawing his penis before ejaculation.

Why doesn’t it work? There is a sneaky little bastard known as “pre-cum”, where sperm is present before ejaculation. Also, gals, do we really want to have to depend on a man to get it timed right? You never know, he may be so into sex with your hot self that he forgets to pull out!

What are the risks?  You can still run a high risk of getting pregnant or acquiring a Sexually Transmitted Disease using this method. Not a reliable form of protection from anything if you ask me!

I have heard of so many women having an unwanted pregnancy because she and her partner were using this so called “method” of birth control. In fact, I heard of one of these cases less than a week ago. She just barely had her first baby last month.

One of my best friends almost died giving birth to her youngest daughter and her doctor has warned her that another pregnancy will likely result in her death. The only method of birth control she and her husband use is this one. I can’t tell you how much this terrifies me.

What method of birth control is reliable? Some say abstinence is the best form, but I’m not an idiot; humans have sex and we love it! Ideally, I would recommend using a form of birth control such as The Pill, The Shot, The Patch, or an IUD PLUS a condom. This is the way to be fully protected and it is the method that I use. If you are a single woman, these methods are an absolute must! The Pill, Shot, etc. will prevent pregnancy, but you must also use a condom to prevent acquiring a STD.
